2Days / 1Night Mount Bromo Sunrise Trek

Day 1    Bali – Mount Bromo (L,D)
Depart from your hotel in South Bali, driving through West Bali National Park as you continue to Gilimanuk, a port in West Bali where you will board a ferry and cruise to Java. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and explore Banyuwangi Town by becak, a 3-wheeled bicycle. Continue on to Mount Bromo, driving past mountain villages. Overnight on Mount Bromo

Day 2    Mount Bromo – Bali (B,L)
Set off for an early start at 02:00AM to begin the Mount Bromo climb by driving to Cemara Lawang Village. Upon arrival at the base camp, get a pony for the trip up the steep slope of Mount Tengger, cross a sea of sand and climb the 245 steps to the awesome crater rim to wait for the stunning sunrise. The panorama of Mount Bromo is spectacular. After enjoying the sunrise return to your hotel and enjoy the morning at leisure until departure.

 

3Days / 2Nights Komodo Dragon Tour

Day 1    Denpasar – Komodo Island (L,D)
Begin with a 1.5 hour flight from Denpasar to Labuan Bajo. Depart by boat to Rinca Island and spend two hours trekking through the savanna region of Rinca. Enjoy the spectacular sunset and dinner served on the upper deck of the boat. Overnight on board.

Day 2    Komodo Island – Labuan Bajo (B,L,D)
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise breakfast and continue to explore Komodo Island. Trek inland to watch the largest and fiercest monitor lizards, followed by an afternoon of relaxing or snorkeling at the amazing Pink Beach Bay. Cruise at sunset to Labuan bajo. Overnight in Labuan Bajo.

Day 3    Labuan Bajo – Denpasar (B,L)
Spend the morning at your own leisure, visit the Batu Cermin, a stone age cave. For the more active, explore the inner cave through small manholes.

 

 


BT01    Denpasar City Tour - 4 hours
Visit the collection of art from prehistoric times to the early 20th century at the Bali Art Museum. Shop in the colorful traditional market for local commodities and in the modern market  for a wide selection of Indonesian products. A stop at the Bali Art Center provides a view of modern paintings and carvings in an architecturally unique complex.

BT02    Monkey Forest & Tanah Lot Temple – 5.5 hours
Visit Taman Aun Temple dating to 1634 with its large tropical gardens and moat. Travel up into the foothill to Sangeh, a small forest of nutmeg trees and home to hundreds of monkeys. The last stop will be at the 16th century Tanah lot Temple perched on a lava promontory 200 meters off shore. Enjoy the spectacle as the tropical sun sets behind this ancient temple.

BT03    Uluwatu Temple with grilled Seafood Dinner – 4 hours
Visit the Uluwatu Temple sitting precariously on a cliff one hundred meters above the rocky beach below. One of Bali’s most sacred temples, Uluwatu dates back to the 10th century. Absorb the spiritual power of the temple as the Indian Ocean crashes against the rocky cliffs below. Sit back and enjoy the beautiful Balinese sunset (subject to weather conditions) before continuing to Jimbaran Bay to enjoy a succulent grilled seafood dinner by the ocean.

BT04    Ubud Village Tour  - 5 hours
Observe various craftsmen at work in Bali’s artistic center. Watch silver and gold craftsmen create intricate jewelries in Celuk. Be awed by the ability of wood carvers in Mas to make amazing things and demonstrate what they can create out of a simple peace of wood. A visit to Ubud Galleries and shops will caltive you with the many styles of traditional and modern artistry.  Ubud is best seen on foot – evnt short walks will take you beyond the shops and into traditional Bali with pristine rice fields and the smiling faces of the villagers.

BT05    Kintamani Tours – 8.5 hours
Watch the Barong Dance, an enactment of the flight between good and evil. Visit a famous wood carvers at work on the way to the 11th century Elephant cave (Goa Gajah). Arrival at Kintamani provides a breathtaking view of Mount Batur. Visit art galleries and various shops in ubud and see gold and silver craftsmen at work in Celuk.

BT06    Karangasem Tours – 10 hours
The tour visits Besakih Temple, the most sacred temple in Bali. The temple grounds are half way up the slopes of the 3,100m Mount Agung Volcano. En route, we visit the ancient courthouse of Kerta Gosa at Klungkung, a beautifully painted relic of the Ballinese judicial system, dating back to the 17th century. At lunch time, we stop at the terrace rice fields of Bukit Jambul, then on to Karangasem via putung and the Village of Tenganan, where we learn about its ancient pre Hindu customs. We then travel onto the bat cave at Kusamba, stopping to watch the traditional methods of salt making along the east coast of the way.

BT07    Singaraja and lake Bratan - 10 hours
This tour travels north to Bedugul and the cool waters of Lake Bratan, a center lake surrounded by high peaks. En route, we pass thru Mengwi, a powerful kingdom dating from the 1800’s and its royal Temple, Taman Ayun. We then go over a high mountain pass, where monkeys come down from their perches in the tropical rain forest to linger by the roadside. We drop down to stop at the waterfalls of Gitgit. On the extreme north coast of Bali, we visit Singaraja, the former capital of Bali from the days of the Dutch colonization. Lunch break is at Lovina Beach at the edge of calm waters of the south Java sea. We return via the sulphur springs and terraced rice fields at pupuan and cap off a full and fascinating day with a stroll through the monkey forest at Kedaton.

BT08    Jogjakarta fly away
Pick up in the morning from your hotel to catch a morning flight from Denpasar to Jogjakarta. Upon arrival at Jogja International Airport, meeting service and direct to visit The Sultan's Palace, Batik factory and Silverworks in Kotagede. Lunch at a local restaurant (Indonesian food). Afternoon excursion to Borobudur and Prambanan Temple. Late afternoon, transfer to airport to catch the flight from Jogjakarta to Bali. Pick up service from Denpasar Airport to your hotel includes.
